Challenge
Pizza Boli’s is a well-known East Coast pizza chain with a large network of franchise locations. Managing operations, creative requests, and franchisee communication across that many locations is no small task. Area managers, in-house design teams, and franchise owners were all working across disconnected tools — making it difficult to track field visits, manage print menu requests, and keep everyone informed without constant follow-up.
Solution
Innovative Labs built a custom enterprise platform tailored to Pizza Boli’s internal workflows. The operations dashboard gives leadership a clear, grid-based view of Area Manager activity across a 7-day week — with date-range filters and unified visit tracking — so there’s always an accurate picture of what’s happening across locations.
For the design team, we built a dedicated print menu ticketing system that handles graphic edit requests from start to finish. Franchisees log in directly, select what they need — whether that’s a specific print size, TV menu, mailing piece, or custom special — and walk through a guided request flow that captures all the right details upfront. Requests move through a structured review and assignment process, with SMS and email notifications keeping everyone updated at each step. An in-app notifications page also surfaces comments, status changes, and mentions so nothing falls through the cracks.

Operations are easier to oversee, design requests move faster, and franchisees have a direct, self-serve way to get what they need. What used to rely on manual coordination and back-and-forth emails now runs through a single, structured system — saving time across every team involved.
